Terms and Conditions for Course Bookings

 

 

Bookings are made subject the following terms and conditions as set out below:

Course Bookings:

Bookings may be made by email, phone, and letter.

Provisional Bookings:

To register interest in a course, a provisional booking may be taken pending a deposit or payment as above but this will not guarantee your place on the course. Bookings secured as stated below will have priority over provisional bookings.

Payment:

Our payment terms require either full payment or a 20% deposit of the total price taken at the time of booking to secure you place unless otherwise agreed.  The remaining balance will become due no later than 7 days from the commencement of the course. If paying by cash then payment must be made on the day of the course before commencement of training, no payment no training. (If paying by cheque on the day of the course certificates will be withheld until the cheque has cleared).

Payment by employer:

A course place will be held as a provisional booking. Your course place will be confirmed and an invoice will be sent to your employer. Please quote purchase order number where applicable.

Cancellations:

Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your course and are unable to transfer your course booking to another date at the time of cancellation the following charges will apply.

                Two weeks prior to the course 50% of the course fee.

                One week or less prior to the course full fee

All Cancellations made by phone must be followed up in writing by post or email and received by due date.

Failing to attend:

If you do not attend a course and you have not previously informed me the full course fee remains payable and non-refundable.

Late Arrivals/Missed sessions:

If you arrive late for the course or miss any sessions, I reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if I feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skills in the remaining time.   In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable. To conform with the qualification requirements for statutory certificates, attendance at all sessions is mandatory.

Unforeseen Circumstances:

I may be required to cancel a course in unforeseen circumstances I will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and you will have the offer to transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid.
